We are recruiting for an On-Call Accompaniment Volunteer (Midlands region)

The Ana Liffey Drug Project is a “Low Threshold – Harm Reduction” service. Our mission is to work with people affected by problem substance use and the organisations that assist them. We do this to reduce harm to individuals and society, and to provide opportunities for development of those individuals and organisations.

The Ana Liffey Drug Project (Staff) often accompanies our clients to appointments (such as to the doctor, hospital or court). As an Accompaniment Volunteer you will provide our clients with a friendly ear and reassuring company during appointments. This role will involve a lot of driving around the Midlands region (in an ALDP car) with one of our staff members.

Contract: Volunteer ( Minimum 6 months)
Hours: On-Call Monday to Friday, with flexablility for the applicant
Base: Midlands region (Counties Westmeath, Laois, Offaly and Longford)
