Lord Mayor of Dublin hosted an evening of appreciation for Ana Liffey’s work

February 15, 2024

On Monday 12th December 2024, Lord Mayor of Dublin Daithí de Róiste held an evening of appreciation for the work of Ana Liffey Drug Project.

The event was truly wonderful and we were all thankful for the opportunity to gather in such a historical and distinguished venue. Members of staff, volunteers and Board members were all in attendance on the evening; and it was heartening to see so many team members getting together.

You can watch part of the Lord Mayor’s video message to Ana Liffey here:

Dublin historian, Gerry Farrell, gave a great presentation on the history of the Mansion House – which everyone thoroughly enjoyed.

The Mansion House is an elegant backdrop for such an occasion, and the staff of the Mansion House were all very warm and welcoming – Liam deserves a particularly mention here for his support that evening.

Photographer, Robert Keogh, effectively captured the evening in a way that gives a sense of the happiness and camaraderie…
