The Ana Liffey Drug Project offers support to service users who have been sentenced to serve time in prison. As part of our case management and one-to-one work the Ana Liffey Drug Project visits and supports prisoners, we also help prisoners prepare for their release.
In Dublin, the Ana Liffey Drug Project delivers two different programmes based in the Drug Free Wing of Mountjoy Prison for prisoners seeking to live a drug free lifestyle. One programme is a a 6 week programme while the other is a rolling programme for people currently in the process of detox. In the Midwest and Midlands, a one-to-one outreach programme is available to those who are in prison who wish to lead a drug free lifestyle or for those who are recently released from prison and need additional help or information on remaining drug free.
