The Ana Liffey Drug Project aims to respond to the needs of people actively using drugs, their families, children and their communities in a flexible, person-centred way. The project works with service users to reduce the risks associated with drug use, improve overall quality of life and advocate for the rights and needs of people actively using drugs.

The Ana Liffey Drug Project has been contracted by the Mid West Regional Drugs Task Force to provide a substance misuse service in the Mid West Region. The service will target over 18s with substance misuse problems and will work with families with related issues. It will also work in close collaboration with other services engaged with U-18s.

The Ana Liffey Drug Project now seeks to recruit the following exciting new posts:

TEAM LEADER (MID-WEST REGION)

– 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (35 hours per week)

Salary: €43,132 (Linked to HSE salary scales)

The main focus of responsibility is the efficient and effective oversight of our services in the Mid-West Region; which provide direct service provision to adults and their families who are actively using, or have previously used drugs through access to a structured package of care, intervention and support.  You will be responsible for ensuring the effective day-to-day running of the full range of services on offer; ensuring a warm, and welcoming service for both services users and staff alike.

PROJECT WORKER (MID-WEST REGION)

– 2 x Full Time 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (35 hours per week)
– 1 x Part Time 12 Month Fixed Term Contract (17.5 hours per week)

Salary: €35,945 (Linked to HSE salary scales)

Working as part of the Project Team and under the guidance of the Team Leader, the main focus of responsibility is the efficient and effective delivery of our services in the Mid-West Region.  Through access to a structured package of care, intervention and support, this service will provide direct service provision to adults and their families who are actively using, or have previously used drugs.  You will be responsible for ensuring effective delivery of direct services to the people who use our services.
