ALDP works to provide options for people who use our services.
In October 2008, the Ana Liffey Drug Project (ALDP) and Coolmine Therapeutic Community (CTC) began working in partnership to provide access to stabilisation services for people who are interested in stabilising their drug use. To this end, we provide open access (i.e. no appointment necessary) groups which give people the opportunity to explore issues regarding their drug use in general and stabilisation in particular. If participants are interested in stabilising their drug use, access to CTC's low threshold Welcome Programme can be arranged, or ALDP/CTC staff can be made available to participants to support them in accessing other services. Two groups are run weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays. These groups are co-facilitated by a member of staff from ALDP and CTC.
