The Progression Routes Initiative connects interagency service delivery with national policy, promoting best practice through pilot initiatives and the provision of practical organisational supports.
The main themes of our work in 2010/2011 are supporting the implementation of quality standards across drug services, and promoting interagency working. The Quality Standards in Alcohol and Drug Services(QuADS) support project is successfully assisting around 100 drug services across the country to self assess as QuADS compliant. This is done through provision of an extensive policy library, facilitated sessions and training, and complimented by the development of a peer review process. In relation to interagency work PRI has developed a number of pilots and resources: we believe in making all information and resources freely available to organisations across Ireland.
