HALF OF LIMERICK PEOPLE WHO SUFFER FROM DRUG ADDICTION ARE WOMEN

Around half of people suffering with drug addiction problems in Limerick are women.

That’s according to the CEO of the Ana Liffey Drugs Project, as the group opens its new office in Limerick.

Their new home is located at Steamboat Quay.

Tony Duffin says there’s still plenty of demand for Ana Liffey’s services locally, with a higher proportion of women seeking help than elsewhere in the country.
